L1 Applied Science
Students will study the Nature of Science by completing investigations or research into different contexts that will be chosen based on student interest at the beginning of the year. Students will cover four branches of Science in this course - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Space Science.
This course contains internal standards with the option of completing one external if desired.

This course will allow students to move on to study Biology or Earth and Space Science in Year 12 and 13. It is not recommended that you select this course if you want to take L2 Chemistry or Physics.
