The course covers a range of skills required to initiate design ideas to meet a brief. Including exploring and researching ideas, considering suitable materials and components, sketching, understanding what makes a good design and considering how a design might be realised.
Suitable for any student interested in using a range of materials to problem-solve, particularly those with an interest in creative, design or technology industries.
Prior Learning & Prerequisites
If you have not taken Textiles/Fabric Technology previously you will need to discuss Discretionary Entry with Ms O’Leary and the HoF Technology.
