NCEA Level 3 Performing Arts Technology (3PAT)

Students who are interested in what goes on behind the scenes of a production, public performances, and other organised events should take this class.  It is a great opportunity to get involved in the school production,  music concerts, and other performances and events across  the year.

The course is suited for those students interested in a career or further study in the performing arts and events sector but don’t necessarily want to perform.

  • Have opportunities to engage and experiment with a wide range of artistic expressions and genres in a safe supportive environment.
  • Develop a love of the arts as a form of self expression and a leisure activity that supports wellbeing.  \
  • Develop the skills and attitudes needed to gain access to further education and/or employment in the creative industries.
