Course Description

NCEA Level 3 Statistics (3STAT)
This course is designed for students who are specifically interested in aspects of Statistics and Probability.
Students will learn how to conduct a Statistical Inquiry Cycle under a variety of situations and contexts. They will also be able to expand on their current knowledge of Probability in order to understand more complex situations.
Students taking this course must have completed the Level 2 external Probability exam from the Level 2 Statistics course.
Alternatively, students who achieved Merit or Excellence in most of the Level 2 Maths standards may choose Level 3 Statistics with their subject teacher's permission.
This course is a UE approved course.
