Level 3 Probability - Semester B

This course will look at chance and risk and will enable students to take Statistics and Probability at university. The course involves two externals, Probability Methods and Probability Distributions and will help students manipulate probability information into different formats, leading to a strong understanding that will support many subjects if studying further or moving into the workplace.


Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

1E8 workbook, a graphics calculator would be beneficial, however, any NZQA approved calculator is needed.


Prior Learning & Prerequisites

Any level 2 Maths course with at least 12 credits would be beneficial.
