Level 3 Maths for Business - Optimisation - Semester B

This course looks at the maths behind making decisions that best optimise or maximise profits, productivity, etc in day to day running of business, whether small or in larger companies.  Ideal for students looking at a degree/career in business or related field once students leave school.

Students will firstly look at past data to try and predict what may happen in the future, using research as a basis for making decisions. Secondly students will learn some Algebraic techniques to best optimise the constraints they are working with.

1E8 and a NZQA approved calculator


Prior Learning & Prerequisites

12 credits in Level 2 Maths would be beneficial.
