Level 2 PE - Academic Sports Science - Semester A
Why should students take this course? | This course offer students a well rounded Physical Education Programme, incorporating physical skill development and organising an event which benefits our school community.

What curriculum skills will students learn in this course? | This course provides learning experiences which promote the understanding and importance of the need for a physically active and healthy lifestyle.
These learning experiences should also develop the understanding and skills that underpin successful physical activity and encourage continued participation in the future.
You will participate in a range of physical activities, analyse how to improve and enhance your performance. In groups you'll develop an event for our school community which encourages participation and enjoyment in sport.
This course requires you to use your skills to work more independently and much of the course will require you to be self-motivated in order to meet set deadlines. You will be able to use your knowledge in an applied setting. As well as succeeding academically, you will have the opportunity to be involved in challenging sports activities.

Full mufti PE gear and sports shoes for all practical lessons.
