Level 2 Carpentry - Build 4 NZ - Semester B

Why should students take this course?

Students will gain knowledge  and skills in Carpentry and and gain an industry/trade qualification.


What curriculum skills will students learn in this course? 

Graduates are able to:-

  • Demonstrate basic factual and/or operational knowledge in Carpentry.
  • Apply standard processes relevant to Carpentry
  • Apply relevant literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrate some 
  • responsibility for own learning and performance
  • Collaborate with others.

Special Information 

This is a full year course as it has been designed to meet a building, construction, and allied trades skills (BCATS) programme.


Students MUST select both Semester A and Semester B.

Success in Semester A or at the discretion of the teacher/HOF
