Level 1 Physical Education - Leadership & Teamwork

Why should students take this course?			We want students who enjoy being active and love the challenge of trying new sports. Do you want to meet new people and learn how to work in a team by improving your communication and developing your leadership skills, then this is the course for you!
What curriculum skills will students learn in this course?			You will be developing your knowledge and skills in the following topics: Actively participating in a variety of Physical and Outdoor activities, analysing the risks and keeping yourself safe. You will be involved in a variety of activities which will improve your skills in communication, problem solving, self management, independent work and study and importantly understanding more about yourself, others and society.
Important information			Students who want to gain a subject endorsement will also need to take this subject in Semester B.
Prerequisites?			No prerequisites. Successfully completing Junior Health and Physical Education.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Full set of PE mufti gear and sports shoes for each practical session.
Chromebook required per 2021 BYOD policy.

Credit Information

This course is eligible for subject endorsement, however, you will need to select both Semester A and B.
