Level 1 Health & Wellbeing - Semester B

Why should students take this course?

We want students who have a passion for Health and well being and want to learn decision making skills to navigate through their lives safely.  If you want to challenge yourself and develop your interpersonal skills and well being then this is the course for you.

What curriculum skills will students learn in this course? 

You will be developing your knowledge and competence in the following topics:  Hauora, Factors that affect the ability to change, Strategies/Changes to support Well-being in a community setting, and independent study on an adolescent Health issue.  

You will be involved in a variety of activities which will improve your skills in communication, information management, problem solving, self management, independent work and study and importantly understanding more about yourself, others and society.

Important information

There is no external exam for this course.
