Level 2 English: Law - Semester A
Anyone can argue, but debating is an art.
The communication skills learned in this course will truly prove that the pen is mightier than the sword. Students who will enjoy this course, would be those who are interested in breaking down winning arguments and how best to be persuasive in many different contexts. We will focus on legal contexts, both fictional and real life. Complete this course and you will be able to convince your way out of any situation.
Standards listed below are subject to change and will be decided in collaboration with the students and their teacher at the beginning of the semester. Students will be offered 8-10 credits for this course.
Students can take this course for both semesters.

Be willing to: question norms, disagree and be disagreed with, and grow in confidence to defend your opinions.
Pathway
Communication skills learned in English provide a solid foundation for all jobs and career pathways, but especially for careers in marketing, research, consultancy, journalism, management, human resources and trades. The law theme will also spark interest for students looking at careers in the legal profession, politics, government policy and law enforcement.
Credit Information
This course is approved for University Entrance however, you will need to select both Semester A and B.
Total Credits Available: 14 credits.
