Why should students take this course?

This is a great course to take if you are interested in becoming an Architect, Industrial Designer, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Film industry/Gaming Designer or any other creative endeavour. 

What curriculum skills will students learn in this course?

Design and visual communication focuses on spatial design using student centred design briefs to enhance students ability to conceptualise, develop and communicate design ideas and potential outcomes.


Students will learn skills, to effectively communicate ideas using effective thinking and presentation skills to showcase their design ideas.

Important information

Students who wish  to gain subject endorsement will also need to take this subject in Semester A.


Prerequisites?

None. However, it would be an advantage to have completed semester A or Level 1 DVC
