Course Description

Level 2 PE Leadership
This course is designed for students who like to be active. With a focus on physical performance in a variety of activities, developing your confidence, leadership skills and participating in a Waka Ama skill development programme.
The Level Two Physical Education course provides learning experiences which promote the understanding of the need for a physically active and healthy lifestyle. These learning experiences should also develop the understanding and skills that underpin successful physical activity and encourage continued participation in the future. There is a mix of practical and theory components in this course.
By the end of Year 12 you will have participated in a range of different physical activities, developed your leadership and interpersonal skills, and improve your Waka Ama skills out on the Kaipara River.
Prior Learning & Prerequisites
Students with an interest in Physical Education should choose this subject.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Full PE mufti gear and sports shoes for every practical session.
Chromebook required per 2021 BYOD policy.
