The use of the school’s weight training facility will aid in this development.
Areas of study include: Developing your Personal Fitness and Skill Development in a range of activities, Basic introduction to Anatomy, Biomechanics, Physiological responses to exercise, and participating to a high level in co-operative games to develop and foster student team work and leadership.
This is a foundation course which leads on to Level One NCEA Physical Education.
Selection of a course does not guarantee entry into the course. Courses may not run due to low numbers and timetable clashes may occur. In both of these situations, the student will be consulted about alternative courses during the Course Confirmation process.
